Welcome to St Hilary’s Anglican Church at Morphett Vale in South Australia

Our Church Community in the Wider Community

At St Hilary’s our pastoral commitment to the local community is both practicable and spiritual.
Fr Peter is Chaplain of Woodcroft College Junior School and he and Parish Lay Assistants conduct services at local Nursing Homes including Grandview (the new Anglican Nursing Home overlooking the Southern Expressway), Perry Park and Christies Beach Residential Care

Anglicare, whose local office is adjacent to and in conjunction with St Hilary’s operates an Emergency Assistance Programme / Foodbank and provides a worthy counselling service for those seeking assistance.

Anglicare and Rotary working together on a recent community Family Fun Day

Our Op Shop provides a valuable service to the local community, selling cheap but good quality clothing, books and bric-a-brac. The Op Shop operates from the green shed and is open Friday mornings.

Pastoral Care is an important aspect of the care offered by our community under Fr Peter’s guidance and a faithful group meets weekly to offer prayers for those in need. Our grateful thanks to them.

F.I.S.H. - Friends in St Hilary’s

On Friday mornings in the Ministry Centre Friday Friends enjoy an informal ‘coffee and chat’.
It is encouraging that a growing number of patrons of the Op Shop join them for refreshment and a chat.

Sunday Friends is the time when children gather in the Ministry Centre (during the 9.30am service) and they can hear Bible stories and come to know the importance of God in our lives.
On the fourth Sunday of each month the children stay in Church to become familiar with the service.
Why not bring your children and grandchildren to Church with you?

We would love you to join us whenever you are able.
It may be for any of the above or for Craft Group on Wednesdays, Solos for lunch (if you are single), Tuesday Fellowship Lunches (whether you are or not) or maybe the Ladies’ Friendship or Men’s Groups are more you style, or for a Service.

You will be warmly welcomed.
